Description

This is a solid body Flying V guitar made by Harmony of Chicago in 1971. It features a natural mahogany finish, two metal single coil pickups with adjustable pole pieces, transparent black numbered knobs, two metal strap pins, a fixed tailpeice, and meta bridge with six individually adjustable saddles and of course the classic and bold Flying V shape. This guitar is gorgeuous and sounds as great too. It still looks lovely, feels fantastic and sounds superb. Don’t miss your chance to get this classic!Description from VintageSilvertones.com

CONDITION:
This guitar is 100% original. It is in good condition and very clean. There are about 4 barely visible spots of wear to the finish at the edges. The headstock has some wear on top. This guitar still looks fantastic, plays beautifully and sounds great!!

TUNERS:
The individual, closed-back, tuners with deluxe metal buttons are in good working condition. They turn smoothly and hold the tuning well.

NECK:
The neck is in good shape. It’s a straight, bound, bolt-on neck with circular, aluminum inlays on a rosewood fretboard, 22 frets, and a 24.75″ scale. There is one spot of wear on the plastic nut that does not affect the playability of the instrument. The headstock, which has a little wear on top, features a silkscreened “Harmony” logo. The front of the headstock is very clean. The neck is kept straight with an adjustable truss rod. The action is fast. The neck and the frets feel fantastic under your fingers.

PICKUPS:
It has two single coil pickups with six individually adjustable pole pieces per pickup. The neck pickup has a great, very clean, potent, round, fat tone. The neck pickup has a fantastic tone with a treblier edge than the neck pickup. There are three transparent, black knobs: one tone for each pickup and one volume for both pickups. There is also a three way pickup selector switch to choose between the neck, bridge and both pickups. Using the controls appropriately, you can get a variety of sounds suitable for many musical styles. The electronics sound quite clean and are in good working order. Description from VintageSilvertones.com
