NECK:
The neck is in good shape. It’s a straight, bolt-on neck with dot inlays on a Brazilian rosewood fretboard, 21 frets, and a 25″ scale. There is some very minor wear on the first two frets. The paint on the back of the neck has about four small spots of playing wear. The Coke-bottle headstock, featuring the horizontal silkscreened logo, has some minor wear along the top edges. The neck is kept straight with aluminum reinforcement rods. With its fast action, the neck feels fantastic under your fingers to play a variety of rhythm and lead styles..
PICKUPS:
The two single coil, lipstick tube-style pickups are very clean, strong and bright. The neck pickup has a full tone with a nice mid-range punch, perfect for rock, blues, soul or punk. The bridge pickup has a sharper twang that is good for funk, folk, rock or country. Using the combination of pickups and tone knobs gives you a wide variety of musical tones from which to choose. There are four concentric pots, one tone stacked on one volume for each pickup. The toggle switch allows you to select the neck, bridge or both pickups; however, with this guitar, both pickups are alway actived. If you want to solo the bridge or neck pickup you have to roll down the volume on the other pickup. Otherwise, the pots and toggle are clean sounding. Description from VintageSilvertones.com
