Description
This is an Alamo Fiesta guitar. It is a beautiful redburst, double cutaway, single coil pickup, hollow body instrument. The features include an adjustable rosewood, bridge, a metal tremolo tailpiece, a rosewood fingerboard, an f-hole and a “Fiesta” logo’d black pickguard on which all of the electronics are mounted. This guitar comes with the original hardshell case and a Tex-Mex-style guitar strap. Alamo Electronics was founded in 1946 when Milton Fink, owner of Southern Music, asked Newark, New Jersey native, Charles Eilenburg, to establish a manufacturing company with him in San Antonio. After making a series of products such as record players and battery powered radios, Alamo began making a series of amplifiers followed by a line of guitars. In 1963 Alamo started the Fiesta line, which evolved over the next few years. This Fiesta is the result of some of that evolution. Eilenburg and Alamo produced a great light weight guitar that feels and sounds wonderful. It has stood the test of time, looking lovely and rocking like a beast after fifty years, making it great for collectors and players. This guitar is a beautiful, rare find that you do not want to miss. The hollow body Fiesta guitars are not often seen.
