Silvertone lap steel model 1312 with original case - 1 pickup black/brown finish, gold hardware circa 1961 This is a 1959 Silvertone lap steel/slide guitar, model 1312 with the original hard shell case. It's is 100% original. It has a black finish; which has faded slightly to dark brown. It has a black and white 50's Modernist-style three dimensional patterns on the fingerboard and an Art-Deco Silvertone logo on the headstock. It was made by Supro for Sears. It has all gold hardware and translucent tuners with gold sparkles embedded. This must have been a special edition since the Sears catalogs do not reference the gold hardware. The serial number is T19xxx (last 3 digits removed). The guitar is in great playing shape. The neck is straight and all the electronics work correctly.
