SILVERTONE MODEL: JUPITER
STRATOTONE - 1961 (?) - HARMONY
This is an early 1960's Silvertone made by Harmony of Chicago. This is a similar to a Les Paul. This guitar is part of Harmony's Stratotone line. It has DeArmond pick ups, mother-of-pearl inlays on neck, and the "Blender" control which regulates the bass and treble pick ups. The original tuners have been replaced but it plays and holds tune better for it.

Dual Pickup Guitar
emphasizes treble, bass
Black finish speckled with rich gold color. Blender switch for special tone effects...tone, volume controls for each pickup. Adjustable bridge. Spruce top and back, maple sides. 38 x 13 x 2 inches. Model 1423L with original chipboard case K736L
