Danelectro Standard 3021, semi-hollow body, electric guitar with 2 pickups in black 1959 This is a Danelectro Standard, model 3021, double-cutaway, electric guitar. It was made in Neptune New Jersey in 1959. It has a black finish with two pickups. The neck is straight and all the electronics work properly. This is a very nice playing Danelectro guitar which will be appreciated by both collectors and players. The guitar is the same model that Jimmy Page played in the live Led Zep shows during "Over The Hills And Far Away". CONDITION:
Very clean with only minor playing wear. The finish has the usual nicks and small dings of a fifty year old guitar (see detail photos below). White tolex binding in good shape. It has a fixed bridge. The binding is very clean and has yellowed slightly from age. The rear strap pin is a modern replica replacement. The original "coffin case" is in very good condition. TUNERS:
2 x 2 open-back, tuners with plastic keys, in very good working order.

NECK:
Coke-bottle headstock, bolt-on, straight neck with dot inlays on rosewood fretboard, 21 frets, and 25" scale. Frets are in very good condition. The fretboard has the slightest bit of wear at the first fret. The back of the neck has very minor playing wear behind the first few frets. The headstock is very clean with only tiny bit of wear. The Danelectro logo is screened on and is in extremely good condition. It has embedded truss rods. The action is set fast!

PICKUPS:
2 Lipstick pickups - strong and good working order. The neck pickup is full and smooth sounding. The bridge is more twangy. Both together sound loudest with the tone being very bright and strong. The stacked volume and tone controls for each pickup are both in proper working order.
